Looking back on my playing career I learned countless lessons, priceless knowledge, and was put in many situations that ultimately shaped me into who I am today. Being raised through the game of baseball is something I cherish and am extremely proud of. Now, I couldn’t be more excited to pass that along to the next generation of athletes. Even the most gifted ball players will spend majority of their life OFF of the baseball field. The core values and work ethic it takes to be successful in sports will last throughout a lifetime off the field. I can say this WITH confidence knowing that the most successful athletes share THESE common traits; During or after their life in the game of baseball. I now want to help young athletes optimize their potential in life by developing those traits necessary, through the amazing game of baseball.

Steven Talbert
My name is Steven Talbert and I am a native to Sacramento, CA. My passion lies in providing athletes with the best possible approach to further excel in their pitching careers. I aspire to help our clients both on and off the field with the lessons I have taken from my playing career. My understanding and approach to development stems from the time I spent training with Driveline Baseball in Kent, WA. From being a low velocity thrower to seeing overall velocity, strength, and arm health improvements, I hope to instill the same results in our athletes.
I understand that training and excelling at this game does not really have a single approach and there are many factors which dictate ones success. However, I hope to help our athletes develop a consistent plan of action that can give them intrinsic motivation and success on the field. I attended William Jessup university under Jake Mckinley after a 2 year Junior College stint at both Sacramento City College and Cosumnes River College. Looking forward to seeing you in the gym! |

i was not a high velocity guy in high school. through my freshman year of college, my top velocity was 84. My lack of natural aBility to throw hard was a Blessing in disguise. it forced me to find alternative ways to throw harder. After two trips to driveline, doing the driveline program at home for two years, countless hours lifting, and watching every video availaBle online, i touched 91 on the mound. The knowledge I acquired in my pursuit of throwing harder is invaluaBle. I have Been ABle to use my experience and knowledge to help trainees Break through apparent velocity Barriers and reach new levels. During my last year of school, i also discovered my passion for video. I am fortunate enough to comBine my love for BaseBall and my love for video By acting as a trainer and director of media & marketing for OA. When it comes to Rapsodo, hittrax, Blastmotion, and more, it can Be very helpful to not only show the player their data, But also show them video of what that data actually looks like, played out during a pitch or swing. In my short time at oa, i have Been aBle to use video in conjunction with these tools to help develop middle school, high school, college, and pro trainees. if you are interested in progressing your game, come in and let's get to work!
